Volunteer Drivers
BEMS are seeking volunteer drivers to transport vaccinators to deliver Spring Covid-19 Booster Vaccinations for housebound patients across B&NES on behalf of local GP surgeries between April and June 2023.
The programme operations weekdays between the hours of 9am-5pm (shifts length and times vary between these hours).
The day begins at the BEMS Head Office which is in Corston in Bath, where you would meet with the vaccinator you are transporting and collect a list of addresses to visit that day. Where possible we are scheduling the list based on location/proximity to try and make the process as smooth as possible for yourself and the vaccinator.
There will be breaks throughout the day and we are paying the rate of 50p per mile from BEMS Head Office return. We are asking drivers to have a full UK driving license, which you would be happy to supply a copy of, and access to your own vehicle.
