On Thursday 19th June 2025, we were delighted to host a joint conference alongside partner organisation HCRG Care Group and BSW Training Hub at Keynsham Rugby Club, bringing together 30 community and primary care nurse delegates from across Bath and North East Somerset.
The event offered an invaluable opportunity for local nursing professionals to connect, share experiences, and gain insights into current practice and developments in community and primary care. We were especially pleased to welcome a range of guest speakers, who brought both inspiration and practical knowledge to the room.
The conference also featured two focused breakout sessions: Wound Care, led by the B&NES Tissue Viability Nurse Lead from HCRG Care Group, or Service User Wellness and Health Promotion, led by the Community Engagement Insight Lead from Everyone Health. These sessions gave attendees the chance to delve deeper into key topics, engage directly with speakers and facilitators, and share perspectives with peers.
The feedback from attendees was overwhelmingly positive with a resounding 100% saying they would attend a similar conference again in future and 96% would recommend the event to a colleague.
This feedback is a clear reflection of the value the day held for attendees, and we are incredibly proud to have helped facilitate such a positive and impactful experience for the local nursing community.
We would like to extend a huge thank you to everyone who made the day possible – our organising team, speakers, facilitators, and of course, the nurses who took the time out of their busy schedules to attend and participate.
We look forward to building on the success of this event and continuing to provide meaningful opportunities for connection, development, and shared learning across our community.
